Why does everyone hate MoE and Conner so muc?

If he won't attack NPCs, even if you tell him to(sometimes getting audio to go with it, with the  NPCs asking him not to attack)... perhaps he's more peaceful than ya'll'd like to admit?

As for the main character not being part of the family, I never understood the problem there. Would you have preferred King Graham or Alexander to have been the main character of MoE(whether you liked MoE or not, King Graham in an action game just seems VERY wrong)? You should be thankful for him existing.

He's not playable, but he plays a fairly large/important role(listen to the voice samples in the media section).

Actually, it's not a debate at all since there is nothing to debate. Whether you like MOE or not is simply a matter of personal preferences, and there's very little point arguing over those
The facts that can't be argued, however, are that MOE is a misfit, and an improper ending to the saga, and that most King's Quest fans regard it as such. Otherwise, it might have been Sierra, not Phoenix Studios, making King's Quest IX

I didn't like MOE or Conner because it was the first time you got to explore Daventry in 3d, and everything was dead and gloomy which made it unfun  .. Also I didn't like Conner because he was just some random person who lived there (unless i missed something)
