No, it's not.

It's a very close relative though.

These things usually don't get very big... so you could think of them as mini-lobsters, I guess.

I think we call it a "crawfish".  At least, I remember dissecting a crawfish that looked similar to that in Grade 11 Biology.

Over here we mainly call them yabbies because that is the name of the ones found in lakes, rivers and streams. We call all the others crayfish though
