Actually, I just know this game will be finished, such a proffesional website is a real proof! Any way! If Our heros Do happen to give up being heros, It will be in perfect timing to let ME take over and be the leader of this massive project!
I'll have finished school by then with all my degrees in PC running  + artwork.

Peasant Girl,  you are very, very naive if you think, because the website looks nice, the game will be finished.  Almost every single fan game started dies, and especially the ones with grandiose ideas and plans (ie kq9).

And why do you have to be finished with school in order to help out?  You won't learn stuff in school that will help on this project (except maybe programming, even that you can learn on your own).  I say join up and lend your hand!

Peasant_Girl

And JUst HOW old are you MR BEERNUTS?!!!!! ;)

I agree with Beernuts that the skill of your webdesigner has nothing to do with the progress of the project.

It's possible that there are professional teams with steady progress and a not-so-hot website because they prefer to spend their time on the development rather than the fanbase/community/site.

It's also possible that there are teams that have a massive website but hardly any progress at all since they spend 99% of their time telling people about it.

Cez

Let's say we are right in the middle.

However, since wqe are now in the production process while we still have a team in the designing, we are possibly going to release a last "Four Winds Newsletter, and let it rest for a while. However, you will still see it coming because it's a very important side to the structure of the game story, and we'll probably release it in a package as part of the documentation.

On the other hand, yes, we are a HUGE project with HUGE ideas. I'd only wish I had more time to work on this project. I've had trhe same love and passion for it as the first day, and what pleases me the most is seeing others with the same passion for it as me.

I assure you, this project won't die. I will not let it die, and I'm not the only one.

Good work Beernuts & Erpy!
More passimism is just what we need around here.
Passimists expect the worst and that's why they only get good surprises, and so say I!!!  :P

After joining the team and seeing all the work that has been done for the production of this game, I am very postive about it's release. The members of kq9 have done a fantastic job with writing, art, programing and music, and the samples you see here are only the tip of the iceberg. Don't ask me for any details or secrets of the game, cause my lips are sealed.  :-X  I was a bit worried that playing the game is ruined for me cause I know the story, but I think being a part of the story will make up for it.

As Cesar said, this side is in the middle of having a great website and game production. Just learn to be pateint, all good things take time.

Don't get too frustrated. I'm still working on my computer gaming masterpiece that I started at age 12.

I'm now 33.  ;D

Rosedragon

Hi Aremisbree, are you new here? Welcome, I hope you stay for a while. I started writing the plot for my own computer game, but it got to long and detailed, and I decided to finish some other stories that I started instead. I'm still working on that novel of mine, about my world of Elysia.
