Forum PM's and their mystical magical dissapearance..

Is there any logical explenation for why a forum PM would be POOF?

Even more importantly, is it possible to detect in some server log what is deleted in terms of PMs?

Any chance they're saved somewhere?

Just one.. but I've suspected it before.. I just don't keep track of the number so it's usually gut instinct and not actual fact I'm basing my suspicions on..

Wasn't a PM I was sending

It dissapeared from my inbox! So it was one that had already been sent to me..

The magical dissapearence of the PM?  At any rate it's never happened to me, but mabye the person who sent it, deleted it in their profile/message box thus deleting the same message she/he sent to everyone?
