Hi

Just wondering, but how is the dialogue system going to work? Will it be the same as previous King's Quest games, linear, or are we going to be able to choose what we say and will our responses have an effect on future events in the game ? Also, is the subtitle interface as seen in the recent screen shots going to be tweaked a little? And regarding weather, I've heard that there will be weather effects in game, but are they going to be spontanious, such as rain suddenly starting and then stopping or do weather affects only happen with in game triggers? And I'd like to do the same about the day and nigth cycle, like for example if you stood in one place long enough would the game turn to night? Or is it just set timing and the day and night cycle only sets in at certain points in game?

Thanks

Yonkey

The dialogue system is fairly linear.  It's slightly different from previous King's Quest games in that there are conversation topics and sub-topics that you choose from, rather than one click of the icon triggering the whole conversation.

The weather is mostly trigerred by in-game triggers, same with the day and night.  They will cycle only after certain points in the game, they aren't timed.

Sounds pretty cool. I am so eager for the game to be out. Have you ever heard of/played a game called Ahriman's Prophecy? It is very cool. It has rain, wind and snow in it.
