Multiple endings from previous games

I just realized that the plot for The Silver Lining is going to have to make certain assumptions on which of the possible endings of other KQ games occurred. We know that Edgar is in The Silver Lining, so obviously we're assuming that Edgar survived the end of KQVII, but what about KQVI? Do you all think The Silver Lining will assume that Alexander saved Cassima's parents or not, or will the game be ambiguous about this to let the player decide?

I bet they'll go with the first option for KQ6. I beat it both ways though.

I guess the games themselves never explicitly state it, but it's safe to assume the official ending, as far as the saga is concerned, is the 'best' one (I'd say 'the one that gives you full score', but that doesn't apply to KQ7).

As for TSL's chosen KQ6 ending, the evidence points towards the happier one - according to the online cast list, Shamir would make an appearence in the game (IIRC, you couldn't finish on the short path without killing him)

Yes. We're basing our storyline on the player taking all optimal endings and full paths in all previous games, including MoE.

You don't have to worry about that. If you listen to the voice clips, you'll find that Sarah & Connor are married. If anyone gets Rosella, it'll be Edgar.
