My troops are NOT undead!! We just sent you all the undead. You see, a member of my regal coucil has excellent connections with Azriel and persuaded him to lend me a few men. My troops are not undead! They are most likely preparing for battle or drinking ale in the tavern.

It's best to dismiss any undead units your hero may have in his army. Otherwise, it will lower your morale and your normal units will be unable to fight in the coming battle(and they are unaffected by taverns).

Not to mention that if the enemy knows Holy Word, you'll be in big trouble. Good luck against the Black Dragons.

True, and Black Dragons are a pain to get. First you have to pay all that money for the Green Dragons, then you have to pay even more to upgrade them to Red Dragons, and if you manage to scrape up enough money to finally get Black Dragons... you then need to make enough money to actually buy them.

Warlocks are poor buggers.

True, but if they can scrounge up...say...5 Black Dragons, (32167!) they'll be a major pain for anyone who doesn't know Dragon slayer.

Very true. They're the most dangerous unit, but I'd still rather be able to finance several castles than get Black Dragons.

Good strategy: Buy everything in the castle, leave the castle unguarded( with an enemy nearby ), let them take it and do the upgrading for you, then take it back the day before they can buy units. And if it's a Warlock castle...
