I have traveled to the future, and according to what I've seen, you will but barely survive. You survive with the help from King Graham and his magic shield. But he is delayed from a massive storm. The genie is badly injured, and they aren't rescued immiedtly. But there is a way to change that. I can travel to their location, and pick them up. I can transport them through the timeline to our location. But only if thine approves, milady.

Time travel?  Is it so easily done, Daventry D'arc?  I find it curious that, after travelling through time, you have not found youself faced with what the Viennese would call a doppelganger.  Perhaps it is of no consequence, but methinks you should beware, lest your double turn to the side of the enemy.

I thank you, Your Grace, for granting my request to serve our kingdom.  I shall assemble a legion of the finest archers of the land and arm them at once.

Tis of no consequence. We only hope thy aim is as true as thy will and manner.

Lollotte, We take it thou hath seen the same as Daventry D'arc? If not, what hath thou seen and how far away are the enemy?

EDIT: Battle strategies: Baroness of Moody, We would advise attacking from the hills, not the valley or river.

Lollotte, We require thy asistance: Thou shalt tend to the wounded and possibly enter battle thyself if things should get fierce.

Farquhar, thou shalt stage an ambush, should they stop for water by the river.

The army does not seem to be more than a few thousand strong, but they greatly outnumber us all the same. Take as many captive as possible, We refuse to promote torture, however We will wish to question these soldiers therefore, kill only on pain of death.

Please tell me immediately, if something should go wrong. The weapons are at the  barracks, and are all in the best of condition,

Farquhar, thou shalt lead with a double-handed broadsword and be
on horseback. Thy soldiers shall have these glories, also.

Baroness, thou shalt have the longbow or the Tsuriani crossbow, what is thy preferance? Thy army shall have the same.

If anyone could be of service, please tell me, good people.
We thank ye from our hearts for sacrifing thy lives for this good kingdom. Baroness, Farquhar, should there be any questions?

Time travel is a very complicated technique. Only a select few, descendants of merlin, to be exact, are given these powers. I am not exactly a direct descendant, thus my powers are limited, but I atleast have time travel powers. I am able to pause and fastforward, as well as rewind time, if thou wishes it of me. Forgive me, but I am at a loss to the word Doppleganger. The word is not of my knowledge. After all, I am still in school. I am on a leave of absence from the Daventry School house for the moment. I am due to return about a month from today. But never the less, I shall beware, and shallst keep my guard up, just in case.

"Doppelgänger" is German and hath the meaning of  Thy Double.

The longbow, if it pleases Your Grace.  It is my belief that the crossbow is a weapon crafted for one who possesses neither courage nor skill.  Aye, some call me a fool, but I would rather have but One with a longbow than a Thousand with such unworthy weapons, for these poor souls, hastily outfitted with crossbows, would surely flee from Battle.

I shall assemble my troops upon the crests of the hills and await the delivery of weaponry, Goode Lady.  Or would you prefer that I wait in the castle until the bows arrive?

Do take care, Daventry D'arc, for you are a worthy, valourous knight, and the kingdom would suffer much if you were slain.  Indeed, let no man say that any of you are unworthy!  I invoke the intercession of Michael, the Patron of Warriors, for you all, and hope to see you all, whole in body and spirit, when this fray is done.

Of course. We must agree, We personally have always favoured the longbow. Thou may wait in the castle, whilst the weapons are delivered. We expect the battle to start at  noon on the morrow.

Mayhap, We must discuss weapons and battle-tactics with thee, for thou seems able and wise. When fencing, for instance, We always prefer the florette to the normal saber. Why is thy oppinion on this mattre?

As I said, Milady, I am more skilled with the bow than the blade.  Please enlighten me, that I may pass this knowledge on to my troops.

The crossbow is the weapon of cowards, one needs but petty aim and the victim is dead. However, with the longbow, one needs skill, and one can accomplish much more. Also, the aim of the longbow is generally better, as the crossbow has far too many faults, provideth it is in perfect condition and possesses aero-dynamicacy.

As for the Sabre, it is far too heavy to wield and in fencing one needs to be extroardinarily quick, this cannot be accomplished with a faulty weapon. The florette is light and balanced. It is also smaller than the sabre should one be at a disadvantage one can parade* it and "six" (french) shall be acquired. (I take fencing lessons :P)

*parade meaning block in the tongue of the sport.

Yet, We are but a mere Queene, everything We know is from lessons and it should be different in actual field combat.

Farquhar

Your Majesty, I shall hasten to set out with the soldiers towards the river, lest thy enemies cross it before we have a chance to set the ambush properly.

I would gladly take the double-handed broadsword thou hath offered me into battle, but if it is all the same to thee I would prefer to wield the weapon I hath carried with me through many past battles. It is a longsword, a blade that can be wielded both one handed or two handed.

It hast been in my family for generations, starting with my ancestor Lord Kaladorn Wynsdor.

Ah. I have been cloaked the time being. I have seen myself in the future, but it is on a gravestone. I believeth that I died protecting you, my grace! It is with great courge that I have been honored by Sir Graham as Sir Dark-Daventry as the top knight. Sir Graham is currently resting at my house for the moment, and I shall carry any messages to and fro.

Have Sir Graham gather his troops and aid Us so soon as the battle has started. They are but a days walk away. Please, hurry.

The message has been sent and received. He is gathering all his troops, and is contacting all of his magical allies. His Fairy Godmother should protect him well, but he will still need more help. Using the little magic I have, I have created a spell around him so he would remain invisible to the enemy, making it more difficult for them. I have also read in places that there is a fourth lost treasure of Daventry. Sir Edward was sworn to secrecy by Mordack. But his notes were recently uncovered. Legend says this treasure has the power to grant the wearer any wish, good or bad. Like a genie around your neck. It gives you infinite wishes, if you desire. I shall search for it, as it may help us all! I hope to return soon, milady! I shall use this treasure to our advantage. I shall wish for what we want. The only setback is that those who are pure of heart are the only ones able to use it. I am pure of heart, as is the royal family of Daventry. It is one of the few powers I have inherited from Merlin. I can see who is and isn't pure of heart. I am sorry to say that no one in thine fair and noble kingdom is pure, at least not from what I have seen. But I believe that you, milady, just might qualify. The treasure shall determine that. I must be off, your grace!
