Hi

I have read that TSL is going to feature a much more mature and darker plot than previous KQ games, and that character development is going to be a heavy issue. I was wondering if there will be any real deep journeying into the characters' souls, to what and who they really are inside?

Rosella

IIRC, in the May 15th chat, lots of people were talking about how much the characters really develop as their own people. I'm pretty sure that we WILL find out a lot about the characters.

Or else. ;P

Both Rosella and Deloria are correct. :)

The game will have some humor in it, I think, in order to be consistent with the spirit of King's Quest. Therefore, it won't be completely dark. Right?

Correct. :) It's not completely dark because there is some humour, but overall it is a lot more mature than the previous games. 8)
