LOL!  I think I posted that prior to the creation of Haven (where it's somewhat more acceptable to post that kind of spam ;P).  Outside of Haven, I still find posts solely pointing out someone's spelling or grammar errors to be annoying. :P

I think it's actually helpful, as it helps me write better so I can get a good book proposal from a big company! (That's what I try to do. It's hard thing for a teen!)  ;)
