King's Quest 7

I don't know if this is where I should be asking this, but I don't know a better place here.  Anyway, I've been TRYING to run KQ7 on my comp, but when i start it up directly from the disk, (i run on windows XP) or by installing it, I get and error saying "Windows title not found".  Does anyone know what this means, or how to fix?  It happened on my old comp (on win millenium), but it didn't happen if I was running directly from the disk instead of the hard drive.
