seems to be the right answer in this case, the game next week will probably only be a screen that says something like: "Oops, you did somethign we weren't expecting. Programm will be terminated..."

I also agree with Jafar, certain members of the team are certainly among them. :P

If a joke was played then I would have looked at my calendar (I have a habit of doing that) and noticed it was April 1st. Gamefaqs.com plays an april fools joke every year and there easy to detect.

I am going to go out on a limb and state that if we didn't notice then they didn't pull a joke. Because:

A) What is the point of pulling a prank unless it is known that you pulled a prank and

B) What is the point of pulling on April Fools joke outside of April 1st? There is only one day you can pull an April fools prank. In any other case it is just merely a prank.

Maybe he wanted to get a head start... Kinda like all of us here, fans of a game that hasn't come out yet either :P


And that's a big NO for April Fool's jokes. They tend to either really annoy me when I forget the date and fall for them, be rather pointless if I do remember the date or, as it been in the last couple of years, go unnoticed since I wasn't online at that particular day :P

I wouldn't mind an obvious prank though, one so absurd anyone could tell it's not real (like announcing they've decided to make TSL in 2D instead of 3D, with screenshots to match :P).
What I don't like is when the 'joke' is only about decieving the poor innocent fans, while its perpetrators lurk around smugly watching everyone else stress about it >:(

Yeah, I really dislike those kinds of "jokes" as well. :no:  Don't get me wrong, making people suffer is great and everything ;P, but intentionally deceiving people is something I never find funny.
