how to actualy play the game

The game hasn't been released yet, but you'll play the game by using the mouse (point & click).

Hmm, that's actually a good question.  There are a few keyboard shortcuts in there already for accessing the inventory and options.  I don't believe there are any for the cursors, but it actually would make sense to have shortcuts to them. 

Currently, you can right-click to cycle through them, but keyboard shortcuts would be a much quicker and efficient way to access them directly, not just for the end-users but also for the developers and testers.  I'll mention this to the Programming Director.

It would be like a combo of tradition and Morrowind. Assign often used items to hotkeys and whatnot.

How about using TAB to scroll through the cursors a la Sam & Max?

Right now, you can already scroll through cursors using the right-mouse button.
