and btw cesar is the project director as well as rich is, they are both directing the -whole- team, as well as their particular fields, the project coordinator is pierre, which he has been with us for around several months by now.

complicated because we dont use a real space where you can just go to their cubicle or office to check up on them, you have to wait till they email back or they contact anyone on the team so if you dont get email you check on your msn list with over 50 people see if any of the directors or its director has seen it or talked to him, either email this person, wait for his answer, check up the list with the directors, which are available which are working, then update, then again check for approval, then post to see if anyones missing and then finally fix it all and post it, the check up is the thing that takes more time since is not something I can measure, but its up to the members so show up somehow.
They do work, but I need them to check up because we update now, we cant be updating this all weeks, when there is other work to do.

Do you guys have your own private forum to keep up with each other and notify everyone of important things?  

If you don't, it might help...If a person wants to continue to be on the team, they should have the responsibility to check there for anything important and update everyone on their progress and such...

In my own humble opinion, you should open up a progress thread and force all the team members to post there at least once a week. Those who won't post, wouldn't get paid

Seriously now, on Tierra there are something like 4 people working on the team, and they all post on their forum. You have something like 40 people and less then 5 of them post here... I know you're busy making the game and all, but it's kind of gives out a feeling like most of the team is ignoring us fans, or at least isn't that devoted about making the game.

I agree...Even thought I'm sure we all would like the game to be finished as quickly as possible, and occasional post here and there won't slow down the project in a significant sense.

And Since you all come from many different places, Why not post while your waiting for other members to come on line to discuss things when need be?  It's a way to kill time, and say hi to beloved fans...

They all care! Trust me they do!!!  But yeah not everyone has time for forum posting, and for some it's just not their thing. Apart from this one, I don't ever post in forums, really. This is the first forum area I've ever gotten big time involved in!

I have 4 forums that I post in now (Customerssuck.com, i'm not there often anymore, here, Tierra, and occasionally on sierra planet).

I know that you cant force people, that some aren't interested, but still, I'd expect a few more to post at least once or twice now and then...
