Connor vs. Edgar

Madame Mushka is the fortune teller in KQ5. And "schpiel" is just a term that can mean "rant," "speech," or "statement." And I have nothing at all against people who like certain things, but people who compulsively hate seem to be wasting so much energy. Why not just say it and not harp on it any more than is necessary?

And since Connor's only been in one game so far, we don't know him well enough to make snap judgements. I haven't played the game yet, and so I'm not going to look at it in an entirely negative light. I just see it as a game that the majority didn't like and a game that I don't choose to play.

Well, I have a theory that says the monsters were only after him because of his irritating voice...  

The truth is, I would take Edgar over Connor any day, flaws and all. I also think he is the best-looking guy on the KQ series, and that includes even Alexander.
Say - I hope you'll draw him accordingly!

I have to say that the most ironic thing about all this is that Edgar's name means "noble spear" and Connor's name means two things, one of which I'd better not post because it might "encourage" certain responses, but the other meaning, in its simplest terms, means "wise" or "counsel." I think we've either got names or demeanors mixed up here.

Those of you who say that Edgar is femine or boyish obviously forgot how he looked at the end of KQ4, very well built and muscular.  I think its just the art style of KQ7 that didn't help Edgar out.

I think some said the Edgar was very superficial about falling in love with Rosella on the spot.  Who knows, maybe they are soul mates, destiny certainly has intertwined their paths, or should I say the 3 Fates have......hehe...........

Actually If ind Rosella going for Connor because he saved the kingdom much more shallow.  She's never even met the guy.....well until the KQ9 writing staff came along......

Oh, Peasent girl! how can you say that about poor Edgar, (especially since you're named after the girl he's in love with)?
I think Rick is absolutly right, Edgar is only girlish in KQ7 because KQ7 is a kinda girlish game (you have to admit it... ).
So there.
And to think ANYONE can actually like Connor's accent! really! what is this world comming to? It was scratching my nerves all game long!!!

And Rick - Edgar falling in love with Rosella isn't more superficial than Alex falling in love with Cassima or Graham with Valanice - maybe that's just the way they do it there  
Also, as I mentioned before, often in fairytales the hero gets to marry the princess regardless of love (but they usually fall in love at first sight anyway)  

Did I just hear another hint about the SECRET KQ9 plot?

Love at first sight seems to be a definite factor in the king's quest series. Graham fell in love with Valanice when he first saw her in the mirror, Alexander with Cassima when they met at Mordack's castle, and Edgar with Rosella. Connor and Rosella have no romance between them, she meets him for the first time in the Four Winds article, I think they'd make better friends than lovers. They're too different for a romance to work. Besides, I think Connor would make a better partner for Sarah.

Yes, I'd say that Edgar definitely looks feminine in kq7. But that's just the style of the game. In anime, a lot of boys look feminine enough to be mistaken for girls. This game's not really anime, more of a Disney-type cartoon. I prefer boys who look like boys, but a bit of feminine grace is also attractive.

and yeah edgar is sooo not gonna look either cartonish, or like the wuss people think he is, he looks like a young mature man in this game, really I know you all are gonna love it. His hair is not that long but yet is somehow, and i wont share more details about it
