Yeah, I speak French. English is my native language, but I took about 3 and a half years of French and can make up some phrases on the spot, though some words escape me (like what spoon and fork are). So, basically, I can ask for someone to pass the chicken, but I can't ask for another fork.
"Passez le poulet, s'il vous plait."
"Donnez-moi un [fork], s'il vous plait."
"Ou sont les toilettes?"
And stuff like that.
I took French cuz my ancestors are French-Canadian, and my memere speaks French just as well as English, so it's handy at times.
I'm also gonna learn Japanese (or I'll try), since I only know "hai" (yes) and "baka" (idiot), just enough to get me in trouble.

Also, I can read most of the Latin-based languages (like Spanish and others) since the words are similar to French words and some English words. That way, I can at least read the signs a bit (though the bigger words escape me).
