How much of the Green Isles will be covered?

Well I was just wondering because I'm always a bit annoyed when I want to play a series of games and they're all in different versions separated by years of technology with very different iterfaces and graphics.  What I would love would to have all of the King's Quest game at the same high level you're making this, but I know I won't get that.

However I was looking at the screenshots you have and it looks like you've got a hell of a lot of the Green isles there.  Would it be possible to do a remake of King's Quest VI from the work you've done and are doing on this?

I think the Art team did a great job at keeping scene objects and placement true to the KQVI location.  "Remake" isn't really the word I would use, because the original was a 2D 640x480 image at best, and we've been using that to create a 3D set supporting 800x600 and up.  It's not like taking a screenshot and changing colours or something. :P There's a whole multi-phase process: sketching, colouring, modelling, texturing, lighting, animating (and I'm simplifying here). :)

As for how much, I would say pretty much everything you saw in KQVI will be in TSL plus more places, such as: Chessboard Land, Beast's Castle, Winged Ones' City, etc. 8)

Even if they don't do a remake of King's Quest VI, they could always release to the public, not the entire source code, but enough of the source code and game resources to allow another group to come along and do a 3-D remake, not only of KQ6, but of KQ1 and KQ2 as well.  From what I've read, there's enough material there to do all three games (I'm not sure about the other KQ games), and most of the work would already be done.  Just as, for example, KQ1VGA was almost an accidental byproduct of Royal Quest, since the AGD's had all the artwork already in place and just had to rescript it for KQ1.  In that case, KQ1 would have the distinction of having four different versions:  AGI, SCI, AGD, and Torque.

Of course, to do that, they'd probably need VU's permission. . . .

I will say it again, screenshots are awesome. I love KQVi. KQVII is good, but not as exciting as KQVi. The graphics in the original KQVI are pretty good, the new 3d TSL graphics rock, it's like the original game was carrot cake, the TSL game is a triple chooclate Devil's food cake.
