I have to concur with racx... all the ones I know either didn't grow up or weren't that bad to begin with so it wasn't that big of a deal when they "recovered"

but then again the ones who did grow up show some hope for those who haven't...

I ran into someone last week who mobbed me two years ago, that person seemed to have matured somewhat, but I didn't talk to him for long.

Heh, I know what you mean actually.  Some of them never change. ::)

I guess the more important thing is that you grow up, and realize how truly pathetic they are.  Consequently, if anyone tries anything similar to you again, you'll know exactly how to deal with it. 8)

So, the way I see it is that it all comes down to experience.  Sure, it's a bad experience, but it's one you won't forget, and hopefully one that you'll learn from so that if it ever re-occurs (which it usually won't), it won't hurt anywhere near as much. :)

I think the only reason I was left alone in High School was because I had kinda made friends with a couple seniors LOL.

Jr. High was a completely different story however.... XD

I'd be curious to see if some of the people I knew back then have grown up or not. ::)

For give my double post, but this is fairly important. My dad got into an accident on halloween night (go figure XD!) He is fine, and it was a three car accident. His car is a bit dented, but nothing serious or longterm... He was just turning into my road, and a car stopped behind him, to let him go. Then another car zoomed right down the road smashing into the car that stopped, and that car just barely hit my dad's car. No one was hurt, however the car that hit first did get his front totaled... My dad now has to fill out papers and stuff...

It's nice to know no one was hurt  :) though I'm sure the paperwork wasn't a welcome halloween treat :suffer: nor the fright that came with it...

Please forgive my constant double posting in this thread, but it is vital. Someone extremely close to my family
has less than 2 weeks to live. She is a woman who used to tutor my sister and I, and she is/was a great person. She's suffered from cancer around her eye, thus causing her eye to be removed, but seemed to have adjusted quite well. Now, quite recently in fact, she has been suffering from pain in her sides. Evidently, it was Liver cancer.  She is dying, and is in a lot of pain, and she was an important part of my life. She is not neccesarly related to me, but she is still extremely close to us all. My family has had to endure cancer's burden's more than once, twice, or even three times. My uncle, whom I have never met, died in his twenties from cancer, another uncle survived it, my mom survive skin cancer, and a cousin of mine has it currently. But I find it rather shocking that such an important person in my life has been infected by it's burden of evil. I knew her since my second year in kindergarten, and I will am devastated by such news. I am now in highschool, freshman year to be exact, and have known her since way back then. I will never see her again. And she was an amazing woman. She's gone through cancer twice, and now her battle is over. It is truly devastating to me to hear such sad news. This news I just learned last night. In only a whole weekend she has been predicted to die in less than two weeks. I will miss her very, very much.
Again, I hope you forgive my double post. A lot has happened recently, and this threade is one of my only escapes from life's many, many burdens. As heavy as these burdens are, I intend to live strongly, and cherish those close to me for eternity. I will always remember those whom I cherish, and even the memory of those I never met, I will carry on forever...

Sorry to hear that, DD. :-\ At least she'll be going to a better place where she'll no longer have to endure that pain.

*hugs back* Thanks so much for your support guys! This really is a great place to be. I will miss her, a lot, but I must never allow life's burden's to get me down. I must always look towards the bright future, where happiness waits me. (And no, I will not chryogenically freeze myself. There is no point to it... Or is there...? XD) Again, thanks so much!

Just a couple months ago my family lost a good friend, and I understand how it can be. I'm very sorry to hear the sad news. :(

Like you said, we must cherish those close to us for eternity.

Thanks! I found out she MAY have a month to live. Not confirmed, but possibly... A teacher I know is taking care of her dying father. He too, has cancer. The world is turning into a cancer hell hole... Everybody around me seems to have some negative thing going on in their lives. This world is all so strange...

Sometimes that's just how things turn out. But there's always a reason for them. I'm Catholic but because of this forum's rules I won't go into much religous talk. I must say that I am sorry and that I will be praying for you and you're family/family friend. I'm sorry if I've already said too much religious things and half of the post has to be scrapped but I felt that I had to say it.
