Hi

A lot of people say that Action and RPG Elements such as violence and statistics have no place in Adventure game, and that an Adventure game is defined by it's lack of violence...But I was wondering, how do the members of this forum, as KQ and adventure game fans, feel about action elements in adventure games? Personally I welcome it, if done in small doses, like as Cesar had said (not a direct quote) "Action in an adventure game style" Personally, I'd welcome strategic type of action, like intellectual-puzzle based violence if you get what I'm saying, and statics I welcome because I think it defines the Player Character's abilities and strength better...But what about you?

I like stats, and I'm fine with action in an adventure way. I just don't approve of blood or hitting things with swords.

Yes. ;P In that, it wasn't a "Whee! Stab! Stab! Dodge! Fwah!" moment; it was a cutscene that ended with you having to have completed a past puzzle and taking the one opportunity to knock him out.
