Elessar

The Golden Egg from KQ1? You get it from the nest (where it should have wings), and if you give it to the troll to go over the bridge you lose points, but if you keep it, you keep the points.
All that is gold does not glitter
Not all who wander are lost
The old that is strong does not wither
Deep roots are not touched by the frost

From the ashes a fire shall be woken
A light from the shadows shall spring
Renewed shall be blade that was broken
The crownless again shall be king

Storm already guessed that... it's close. It's still not quite right: there's an exception in those last two lines I mentioned. It's very specific.

The golden walnut.

It comes from a tree where it should have wings.
And you lose points for using it, same as the egg.

And to answer your question...

"I am a schizophrenic." ;D . . . "But I'm not!" >:(
