Noli me tangere! Nescio ubi fuisti!
Don't touch me! I don't know where you've been!

Before you hear our voices
With danger you must meet
To see the path before you
Three foes you must outwit;

And after we have told you
Tales of woe and bitter strife
The gifts we give may ease your way
Or even save your life.
"Never argue with idiots. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience."

Medusa, bandits, spider...
Minotaur, Shamir, ...another one...
the bandits in the desert, ... maybe this one's a stretch... I seem to recall that you can just head into the desert and handle this... *shrugs*

Correct! ;D
It was supposed to be one of those 'recurring theme' riddles.
And you got all three of them on the first try - very nice!

As for the bandits in the desert - well, you do have to hide from them to hear what they say to open the door, then steal the staff from under their noses... I figured that could constitute 'outwit'.

Your turn ;)

Delling

Ooh...very nice... I thought my answer was a bit too stretchy...

To be seen
Gotta be mean
Play this
Or do that.

(I just realized I've been using morae to define my poetic feet while working on these riddles and not stress... :( :P)...oh, and both answers please!

Yup. :)

I figured the 2nd line might be a little obscure, but I'm glad it clicked.

Are you going to post a riddle now?
All that is gold does not glitter
Not all who wander are lost
The old that is strong does not wither
Deep roots are not touched by the frost

From the ashes a fire shall be woken
A light from the shadows shall spring
Renewed shall be blade that was broken
The crownless again shall be king

I will, I just need to think of one..
