Sounds more like tombstones to me. I'll say the tombstones in KQ4.

I didn't know how much I really enjoyed the Sierra Adventure Games until I played them all over again 15 years later.

I don't know if beauty's dress in KQ6 had pockets, but perhaps the dress as it burns?
I didn't know how much I really enjoyed the Sierra Adventure Games until I played them all over again 15 years later.

It seems that you are understanding the riddle backwards - it's the pocket that is "hot", not the item.

that is where I was headed with beauty's dress...

I still have no idea.  If it is from MoE i have not played it since the first month after release.
I didn't know how much I really enjoyed the Sierra Adventure Games until I played them all over again 15 years later.
