still no....

We know it is from kq7...
as for a clue...think about when you go north and end up to the south...and when you go south and end up to the north...

i don't know of any other clue without giving it away
I didn't know how much I really enjoyed the Sierra Adventure Games until I played them all over again 15 years later.

Bludshot

The dream with Lady Mab?

I'm running dry on KQ7 locations in general...

Okay, this is going to sound unintelligent but the only thing I can think of is when you walk around. When you walk to the north you are always to the south on the next screen, and when you walk to the south you are north on the next screen.

:D This is the best I can come up with.  :D

Heheh, I thought about that too! but that happens in every game, not just KQ7 ;)

At the risk of having to post another one - Maybe the rainbows in Etheria, where you jump to different locations?

Yes, the rainbows!!  One of them at the top of the screen drops you to a southern location in the desert.  The two on the bottom of the screen send you to either the screen with cornucopia/nectar or in front of Malicia's home.  Thus north takes you south and south takes you north.

However, both the Bountiful Woods and the Swamp are in the SOUTH part of Eldritch.

chucklas

Storm

Yes she did! :o :o :o
And this time I really was too busy beta testing to post another, in fact I even forgot to check the forum and see if I was right ;D

Ok, here goes:

To be or maybe not to be
Is a good way to start for me
And to end the same as first and last
Will help you solve this really fast
      And finally to place inside
An 'A' then from this should you hide.

bat!

(edit)
...or maybe not. Now that I think of it, it doesn't make sense anymore.

Storm

Heheh, actually it does make some sense... I'd say you're about half the way there ;)
"Never argue with idiots. They'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience."

PurplePhoenix

to be or maybe not to be?
is it the cat from kings quest three?

Or maybe its the giant in kings quest one?
I think i've probably got this wrong...

Storm

Nice rhyming ;) but both answers are wrong

Agatha?

Funny side note: "agatha" would be Doric Classical Greek for "good" :P

I don't recall any Agatha, just Hagitha in KQ2, and Dahlia in KQ1.

Beast?

Yes!!
I said you were close ;)
This riddle wasn't an original, I 'borrowed' it from the game Clandestiny, which BTW I recommend to anyone who likes puzzles, riddles and lots of humor :)

Ok, your turn.
