For all of you Americans out there, today is Thanksgiving, when we celebrate the pilgrims and settlers who first came to America, and we are thankful for our prosperity as a nation. The most important part of Thanksgiving is eating, particuliarly the turkey, but cranberries, potatoes, yams, corn, bread, greens, stuffing, and pumpkin pie as well. I didn't have a pumpkin pie with my thanksgiving meal, my mom will make one tommorrow. We have canned pumpkin and pie shells that we use to make the pie, but we're out of condensed milk.

This is not a very good Thanksgiving for me because I am sick, I have a sore throat, ear infection and runny nose. I saw the doctor last week and got some medicine, but it seems to be worse this week, my throat really hurts. What makes it worse is that tommorrow is my birthday, I don't want to be sick on my birthday!  :'(
I hope I can get better soon.

Anyway, Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

My family had SOO much fun!  We always do.  We joke around and everything.  And Mr. Hankey was there! (my aunt and uncle bring him everywhere, he's the family mascot).  The we somehow crammed all 9 of us into the living room, where we zonked out one by one watching gameshow network and football.

And tomorrow, Biggest shopping day of the year!

At Alt.fan.dragons.com, there's a girl named Starseeker, and everyone calls her Star. I like the anme, it's a cool nickname. Feel free to call me that anytime. Which do you like best as a nickname, Bloody or Honor?

Yesterday I went on a trip to a nature park, I had NY style pizza in a cafe on the way there, it was delicious. I had a good birthday despite being sick. The nature trail was nice, but there weren't that many animals, all I saw were some birds and gators and a deer, but there were pretty flowers in the marsh. i got a T-shirt with flowers and a butterfly on it at the gift shop. When I got home I had a message from Wal-mart on my answering machine, I had won a 50 dollar gift certificate. Amazing coincidence that I won on my birthday. Today I went to Wal-mart and bought 2 videos and a dvd, LOTR, Harry Potter, and Labyrinth. I haven't seen Labyrinth before, and I look forward to it. My kitty's been a sweetheart lately, she's  lot friendlier with other members of the family, and she's bonding with my sister.

I think what I have is the common cold, plus and ear infection. I don't think I have the flu because I had a flu shot. I hope I don't have strep throat. I can talk a little, but my voice is really hoars and it hurts to talk. I sound kind of like a fairytale witch, more like a sick person. :P

Happy Holidays to everyone!!
I hope all of you get well soon!
Is it just me or is everyone getting sick around here lately? Maybe it's just the winter in our hemisphere, although here the winter hardly started. ???

I'm also not so well lately. I had tests and found out I'm allergic to some stuff. It makes me sneeze all the time and that makes me sick because of the constant irritation :(

Hanukah came early this year (usually it comes around Christmas). We didn't celebrate at all but I do light Hanukah candles every day and ate a doughnut (official Hanukah food). These things are diet-killers, with 400 calories each, so that's the last one I'm eating this year  :(

Come to think of it, Christians don't have as many or as nice holidays as the Jews, do they?
