Spiderman NOT GOOD ENOUGH to be the best movie of the year?  

Hehe well I guess thats a matter of personal opinion..........There haven't been that many memorable movies this year...........those I thought might be were a big let down.  So for me Spiderman still is #1.

It had its flaws but the interpretation of the hero was right on thanks to a great director and creative team!

I saw the SECOND trailer for Lord of the Rings : The Two Towers.  The first one was ok but this one really really really makes me want to see the movie.  I'm looking forward to December!

I've got to say, I've always been a fan of the Fantasy movie genre. I've seen just about any movie that ever involved swords, knights, wizards, or dragons. For the longest time Willow was my above all favorite movie. But it definetly lacked something that Lord of the Rings has surely provided. Its the difference between a great story, and a great Epic.

Lord of the rings has been attempted so many times in the past, from Orsen Wells to Ralph Bakshi it has definetly been the one greatest fantasy tale of all time. The most amazing part of it is the fact that Tolkien did it all first. Most people that play modern day rpgs see things like elves orcs wizards and goblins and dont even realize that it was Tolkein that gave them the look and feel that the Forgotten Realms universe has capitolized on so well over the years.

I was truly amazed by how well the first movie captured the essence of Tolkein's novel. Its not an fairy tale as much as its an Saga. The world although so apart from our own is so very realistic and beleivable. I cant wait to see the Two Towers, it was by far my favorite book of the three. I hope it is as amazingly accurate as the first movie was.

awww, lord of the rings, now that would be a top #1 movie like!!!

a movie i just cant get out of my head i saw on the teathers this year is Count of Montecristo, Duma's book has never been so amazing to me! yay, is like he couldnt pick better faces for that story, anyone read that over here? well if you havent seen it is really fun to watch ( I liked it myself but i dont think is the #1 this year, as well as not spiderman   )

talking about heroes movies again, I CANT WAIT TO SEE X-MEN 2!!!!! I HEARD GAMBIT IS GONNA BE THERE YYAAAYYY, I love gambit, I really do

Gambit is cool, but Wolverine is still my favorite.  I hope tht they will start to introduce less humanoid mutants in the X-Men movies like Beast and Nightcrawler.  The first movie was okay because it was new but I think its time to delve into the more fascinating mutants of the series.

The clock is ticking down to Lord of the Rings : The Two Towers.
