I can't believe it took me this long to finally find this.

Can I join? (Even though Mary Jane hasn't been here in a while?)

So THIS is the infamous "I've Fallen Down the Stairs Club." I've slid down the stairs in sleeping bags, fallen up the stairs, and fallen down the stairs on several occasions. The other week, I slipped on a stair, fell backwards, and comically slid down the rest of the way, injuring only the tip of my pinky for some strange reason. I conclude that stairs are pure evil, second only to doors that don't have twistable doorknobs (my arch nemeses >:( ).

I have injured myself so many times trying to open doors (for instance: pushing doors that are supposed to be pulled and vice versa, running into a door I didn't know was locked, being hit by unusually heavy doors after passing through them, mistaking a regular door for an automatic door and running into it, etc). Usually they're doors you find in schools or other public buildings. I hate them so. :(

tessspoon

Ah. I hate it when I push or pull when its the opposite as well. :P

Does deux mean two? I tried to "define: deux" in google and it didn't come up with any english translations.

At play practive once, I slipped on my cape down the stairs, and one time I accindentally somersaulted (sp?) down the stairs, I've also slid down on pillows/blankets into pillows/blankets!

I seem to have more problems with stairs that are only one or two steps long than actual staircases for some reason. :P

Although I did actually fall down the stairs at my house just last weekend. I think I prefer falling down the short starcases.

Yep, it's french for "two".

I've also done that push or pull when you're supposed to do the opposite. :P  Usually it doesn't take more than a few seconds to notice though. XD

I have fallen on my butt down a few steps but I've fallen UP the stairs several times....It always happens on a staircase I'm "used to" climbing so I do the little "jog up the steps" and I miss a step and slam down both feet and then land on my forearms on the stairs.....I think I hit my face and bit into my tongue to draw blood once.

I don't think I've ever fallen down stairs before...  I've almost tripped on flat ground though, particularly when it's icy. :P

Here's a tip. When you come to a door that needs to be pushed or pulled...look at the door hinge. If you see it, then you pull, if you don't, then you push :)

To all who have told of your grand stair falling adventures after I lasted abandoned this place, consider yourself official members. I can neither confirm nor deny that I have fallen down any steps in recent years.
She's back. She's proud. She will overcome!
