I can't believe after all these long years of begging for a demo we're finally getting something playable!!
(It IS playable, right? I didn't just get overly excited over nothing, did I? )

I was going to come anyways, but now I'll probably stay longer and wait for the demo, even if it means I might not wake up for work tomorrow (it starts at 12:00am in my timezone ).

Yes, it's 100% playable!

I don't think anyone should have problems playing the demo.  You might need the Microsoft .NET Framework 1.1 but that was released in a Windows Update patch about 2 or 3 years ago (and possibly bundled with XP SP2), so I'm sure most of you have it already anyway.

Hehe, well I didn't send out a Newsletter.   I only mentioned it to our forum members.   Since most have been supporting us for years, they deserve a little spoiler, even if it's one they cant see until 24 hours later.

I have one thing to say about that: !  I wasn't sure if you got my e-mail or not.

As eager as I am to experience a sample of all the hard work that's been put into the game so far, I'm probably more interested in seeing whether or not there'll be many reports of technical difficulties (ie. what works fine on one machine won't run on a similar machine). Perhaps I'm mistaken, but this demo release might be an even better tool than any alpha or beta testing for getting information of this kind, and dealing with it accordingly.
