Er. This error really has nothing to do with the system, so can I leave that part alone? :P

In the intro/text/story thing, it says "a stanger" referring to the person who
placed the curse upon Rosella and Alexander.
Also, if there's an error like "Video card failed to initialize," the window is titled "KQ9 error." :P

This is also sort of a typo. :P If you look at the door to the book shop, it says there's a sign when the only sign is on the pawn shop door.

Also is it ok that the game mentions "King's Quest" in one of the snarky remarks?

Maybe it falls under parody laws, but then again maybe VU won't like it.
Well, ya, King's Quest is on Earth. Daventry is very old city from a long time ago. It's in ruins now and people aren't quite sure exactly where it used to be. There are some archaeologists searching through the ruins, they think they know its Daventry. But its somewhere on Earth."-Roberta Williams http://kingsquest.wikia.com/wiki/File:Daventryisearth.ogg

The only spelling/grammar thing I noticed was after you've clicked on something several times there's a line (within the line) that reads "we don't care you are the King," which should be "we don't care if you are the King."  It's a mistake I make all the time when I'm typing fast and/or already have the line in my head.  I don't remember anything else.

I actually caught a typo.  It was something really simple - if I can get the game to work on my computer I'll definitely post it.

The walking system has been majorly overhauled since the time of the demo, and should allow for a lot more freedom.

And yes, you are able to skip dialogue sequences by right-clicking the mouse button.

If you notice any specific spelling/grammar mistakes, I think it was Cesar.  :P

QuoteActually, Alexander28, that's a perfectly fine sentence. The introductory word "that" is often excluded from noun clauses functioning as direct objects.

Really? Here's the way I was looking at it.  I'm totally not trying to argue or be a jerk.  I'm an English major, I've never heard of that particular rule, and you have piqued my curiosity.  Plus, I'm hugely nitpicky and analytical much to the occasional annoyance of my friends.   ;D Here's the way I saw it (again, you just hit on one of my interests.  I freely admit I'm wrong A LOT and will freely confess when shown the error of my ways).  The way I see it, "we don't care" is an independent clause.  I'm not sure about "you are the King," it would depend on if it was being used as a form of address or as a statement of fact I guess.  You know, I think you're right that it doesn't need the word "that" because "you are the King" isn't a relative clause.  I think, however, that it is a dependant clause in the context it's being used in.  Doesn't that mean it still needs something to connect it to the independent clause?  You can't just weld a independent clause to a dependant clause.  You at least need a subordinating conjunction such as the word "if" don't you?  A period or comma won't work cause it'll change the meaning of the sentence......hmmm...now I'm basically talking to myself.  ;D ;D  I also think "the King" is an indirect object, "you are" refers to it but takes no direct action on or against it.  Anyhoo, that's my two or three or perhaps four cents.  :)  Do I make any sense or am I totally way off base?

PS. I promise to shut up about it after this.  I don't want to nitpick one little teeny, tiny thing to death.  :-X

That one will most likely not get fixed, because it requires the modification of the base engine code.  It will (and probably already has) be fixed in the production TSL Shadows demo though.

Anyway, all other typos mentioned have now been resolved and will be patched in TSL Public RC1 Patch v.1.0, which will be released tomorrow. :)
