I love this song. The music is beautiful, the lyrics are touching. I just love it. I had it on repeat for like...hours... *would be rather scared if she knew* I like the instrumental version the best, but the Silver mix is a close second. ^^

I think my favorite actually was Day You Were Gone - The "Congrats on the baby, Amy!" Remix (Song Example 2).

But for the full song I liked The Day You Were Gone the best. However, I thought the drums should have been quieter - maybe half the volume. It distracted from Amy's vocals.

I love the instrumental and the original version. But I'm with Elessar, the second song example is just beautiful.

It’s hard for me to choose: I liked all three.     This is another great song to add to the collection.  I cannot wait for the official soundtrack.

I think I like the instrumental version the best, since it was the first one I heard.  The WIP version from the Making Of video is also quite good.  The volume levels may be off, but the melody was incredible.   I even remember it cheering me up during the whole Vivendi thing.

So, just wanted to tell you that my daughter loves the song so much that she and I danced in our kitchen to the pop mix version.  It's cheesy I know, but she's a little girl and it was fun!
