About My New KQ site...

Well, I added a few easter eggs and curiosities (along with older fun things to try). My next step is for walkthroughs and screenshots, and then the site with me ALMOST done, info wise. Links and stuff are easy to do.

Say: I WOULD make it with flash, but i know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about making a flash movie. I knew Director 8 because of my multimedia class, and it was pretty wasy to use, we had the book and everything)

So does anyone want to tell my the first step I need to do?

Well, my search for a flash program isn't going to well, one I DID find cannot orient the object to rotate on the path, which is about 80% of the coolness of my ladybug project.

So I'm stuck! i REALLY want to make that movie again, it was my greatest ceration. I spent SOO much time to get it JUST right (it took about 20 minutes to actually do the WORK on it, but a long time to touch up)

dont feel bad, I wish I could send it to you but over yahoo messenger I cant send something bigger than 2 M or something, how crappy!
Anyways, I got Flash MX the newest if your interested, I think a friend for it from some website for free Im going to ask him where he got it, and you could try to get some easy get started stuff on flash its seriously like any vectorial program, nothing difficult its just everything its a bit different how its shown (compared to director, yes) and once you get used to the actions scripts and basic animations situation I bet you can do that and more with it.

Hey, I'd like to join the fanlist, but I don't have a website, not now anyway. I'm working on that. I got alot of other stuff to do. At least my job is working out ok.

but its alright you dont need a website to get listed on a fanlist, does she andrea? I dont think she needs to anyways?
its like andrea says, you could actually put it after you joined, if you like.

now if you were about to do a big project like andrea, i think doing a fanlist does requires a website of course but be part of it doesnt i think.

Well, I have a few more small thigns done. Hopefully I'll have the site opened by the end of the month. Pretty much everything is progressing, but I NEED MOE info. I know JACK about that game (though I do own it, but dont have the patience to deal with it for more than 5 minutes).

And if someone could create a banner, that would be WONDERFUL. You can e-mail me if you are interested, I can give you the specs and ideas of what i'm looking for. (I suck at graphic design, although i did ocne take graphics arts and computer graphics 3 years ago...I knew about the macs in that lab than the techers did, so I didn't learn too much..)

Well, I bought the domain name, but i have to wait until monday for hosting (the comapies hours dont include weekends, and but the time I got home from a meeting at work, they had closed for the weekend).

And I just realized, i need to make a page for the books!

Well, I have screen shots for KQ 1, 2 and 5 right now! YEAH! I can get them for other games too, the games work perfect on my friends computer, so I could capture them.

Well, it's an independent project, but I will post it on my site once I figure out how to get the export movies to work CORRECTLY, and after I work out the bugs (no pun intended!)

Well, I added 4 screenshots to every game (8 actually, but 1 of each is a thumbnail).

I have the domain bought and hosted. But I'm NOT giving away the address until I'm ready. Though It's getting close to finished, there is STILL a LOT of work I need to do (YOU try putting together a huge site like this! It isn't easy!)

Ladybugs are doing ok. I gave them today off from all that running around...

Does anyone have a program that can convert a Midi file to a wav file? My search online ends up in a sucky porgram that doesnt even DO what it should. I found the PERFECT music fo9r the ladybug movie, but Director doesnt support midi files...

The only way to do that is to record the auxilary (aka what's coming out of the speaker) for your computer.

If you're having trouble with that, which I did until recently (I wanted to put midis onto a cd and play em in a cdplayer) I'll convert it for you.

I can make it an mp3 if that's okay, since mp3s can be converted to wav files pretty easily.

Well, I can be either a mp3 file OR a wav, either one is supported. I WAS able to convert that file from oog to mp3, but THAT wersion had the words, The midi version is (obviously) less quality, but the sound itself fits better with the video.
