Using Keyboard to Move

i figured it out this morning...did you get right up close to a window?
i pressed the "w" and "a" etc and could zoom in and out of the whole area and got this



I could zoom all the way in and out but i couldnt walk anywhere!  :'(

You're actually not supposed to be able to use any keys, the game is supposed to be entirely point-and-click. :P 

The key bindings are only meant for development and not release. 8)  Anyway, I'll easily fix this in RC2.

You're not meant to press keys! ::) It's a point-and-click interface, don't use random keys, they were meant to be disabled.

This issue has now been resolved and will be patched in TSL Public RC1 Patch v.1.0, which will be released tomorrow. :)

I don't know if this is WAD, but when you walk off the screen to the left from the Pawn Shop you get a zoomed in view of a window shutter.  You can see Graham about 10x his normal size but you can't walk back off the screen. 

  And just for the record, Sing Sing has got to be the fattest nightingale I've even seen.  Looked more like a goose with a short neck.  ;D

Yeah, that's pre-patch stuff, the zoomed view going west from the pawn shop.

I might be wrong here, but I'm pretty sure if you move the camera around like that it would become clear that you were never supposed to see the rooms from those angles, as there'd be things like incomplete textures, obvious seams, empty space etc

It could be an undocumented feature.  For example, you have to press Ctrl+P to get it to work.  That way, most people wouldn't know about it.

While I haven’t played the game yet I think it would be an Awesome feature to leave “on”.

nope. that function won't be in the game :)

And I will add, rooms that have been done fully, have been done fully for a reason. And that reason is most probably a cutscene, or a bunch of them, as the Main Hall is part of. :)

Yeah, actually that function wasn't supposed to be made public (mostly because it screws up how the scenes were supposed to be displayed).  But I agree it's fun to play with! XD
