I'm not sure if this is a bug or if it's just the way the game loads.  I had to send Graham back to the castle once or twice as I was figuring out what to do and both times when he entered the castle doors, there was a black screen with the two guard dogs in the background (the ones standing outside the door upstairs).  The screen freezes for a brief moment and then clears to the lower floor entry hall.  It didn't get in the way of gameplay or anything, it was just interesting. :)

Alexandar, I'm sure that's just the screen loading. I know I've had the same problem. You should've seen it before they were able to speed up loading time XD

Okay, cool.  I figured that was what it was but thought I'd mention it just in case.  I am happy.  ;D

Thanks for reporting this!  Jeff actually noticed this prior to release, but it involved a bit more work to fix, so it will probably only be done in a later patch or RC2.

This is in both versions.

Right after takeing the cloak and leaving the courtyard.  Going back into the room you leave the castle from.  I noticed Briefly That it appeared like you could see the entire second level including the guards just for about 2 seconds before it loads the correct screen.

I don't know if this is on my end or ya'lls end.
To go on an adventure like this. Brings out the best in me puzzles to solve. Riddles to guess, death traps with cheesy punchlines. Who could ask for more.

It happens to me every time you re-enter the castle. And its surroundings.
WOW! I like your game! Keep up the good work! Fansite coming soon... (Kq1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9!)

Keep in mind that the castle set is actually the equivalent to 4 sets in one, so it does take 4 times the amount of time to process and render compared to a single scene. 8)

In any case, I think this has already been reported.

System: amd64 3800
Demo and patch version: RC1 Patch v.1.0.1
Operating system: Windows x64
RAM: 1gb
Video Card Manufacturer (i.e. NVidia or ATI): ATI
Video Card Model: x800 pro

Location: castle foyer
Action performed (if applicable): walk from castle courtyard to castle foyer

Result (pick one):
- Mistake

When walking from the castle courtyard to the castle foyer I get the following funky graphic but only for a short while. after a second or so it goes back to normal

Yonkey

Ok.  For now I'm just going to increase the fade to black by a second, which will fix it for most people, but the proper scene loading fix requires more work. 8)
