Hello.

MY name is Russ Crespolini and I am the voice of Hassan in the demo (as well as the final auditioner in the making of video). And here is where my only criticism of this fine project lies. My name does not appear in the credits sequence...in fact...all I see "Russ Camarcho" or something like that.

Being an old school gamer (sorry KQ fans but Gabriel Knight is the definitive adventure game for me...to the point where I lobbied Mike Fortunado to allow the narrator to ramble like the old creole woman in GK1) I was very pleased by the interface, the graphics and considering it was a demo, impressed by its functionality (although Hassan's outfit was a surprise I wasn't anticipating. More Commodore Norrington then I pictured in my head.)

Also...the guy voicing Graham? HE is a tool. Seriously. What an ego. Not to mention a bear to work with. He made me repeat my sequences at least a dozen times and he always dogged it during my closeups.

Ok, I am lying.

Jason and I are actually pals and the unique distinction of playing the demo in my living room and feeling how weird it was to have our characters interact as we sat their playing....slurpees in hand....like we were kids again.

In any event I am sorry I missed the chat...I found out about it last minute and was out at Yankee Stadium rooting for the home team!

Hope to catch you all later. And , again, congrats to the team for such great work.

Hassan Chop,

Russ

PS. Look for my cut of "The Day You Came Back" which will be released after chapter 2!

Hey Russ!!!

Awesome to see you here! ;D

"You don't need to be eating anything, porker" that line will go down in history! :)

I was so bummed I missed the chat...but anytime I get to see Yankee Stadium up close is worth most sacrifices.

Honestly, Jason and Dave and I have spent a ton of time playing the GK series, Quest for Glory, Shivers...all the way up to Syberia. When we auditioned, we were impresed with the team, we were more impressed when working with Mike and now to see some of project all together is a real kick for us.

The game play is fun, the backgrounds look great. Really, you guys did some great work.

(and the sea nymph ad-lib somehow made it into the actual demo)

Congrats on your success and let us know if you need more from us!

:-)

Hassan Chop,

Don't ask me where "Camarcho" came from *glares at Rich*.  Anyway, I'll make a note of this to fix in a future patch for sure! :P

It's a shame you missed the chat, but I should point out that there are TONS of Hassan topics around here these days (both in Plot and Technical Support ;P), so feel free to check some of them out. XD

OMG *wants to hear it*  If it's anything like the "OMGWTF" song I've been anticipating to hear for years, I can't wait! XD

Oh, I forgot something:

Ad-lib??  Dude, I'm officially entering that dialogue into the game with the next patch!  It's classic. ;D

These fixes have now been added to Patch v.2.0 which will be available this evening.
