We've all played KQ2+ by Tierra and loved it (right?)... is KQ9 going to be bigger than KQ2+? darker?


btw, is there anyone here who didn't play KQ2+? It's a must if you want to see how a good fangame is done

hmmmm...........

I don't think there's nothing out there quite similar, but if I had to say something as dark, I'd say The Longest Journey. Much more heavy on the fantasy department, tho.

Longest Journey is a great adventure!

Basically, the darkness in that game comes from lots of soul searching and (Cesar's favorite): duality!

Searching through two worlds (one techno, and one fantasy) you must find out why you get these weird visions and you must find the dragons of old. (Or something like that)

Unfortuantely, I'm not familiar with any of these games...I don't even think I've even heard of them...like with Quest for Glory--I didn't even know they existed until a few weeks ago when I was getting ready to play KQ2:RTS from Tierra...and now I can't play them b/c they won't run on our computer!:'(   Is it just me or do I get the rough end of every deal?

Wow, Say's a devoted knight now, nice going ;-) I am but a meager slave boy! (cry!) And I'm not evne a boy! (cries harder!)

Anyhow, I think KQ2:RTS was a great remake, I'm sorry it's not working for you!  I had to wait for a while to play it myself, until I had a fast enough connection to not be downloading for five days.  

As for as Quest for Glory, I only ever played Shadows of Darkness, number 4 I beleive, which was pretty good, although I never finished it. Hmm...maybe I ought to bust that one out and play it sometime again.
