Hey, I was just curious, but how many 1.2MB 5.25" floppy discs do you think it would take to hold the whole TSL game?  ;D ;D

Well I don't know about the whole game... but the demo (which is just under 90MB's) would take up approximately 75 1.2MB 5.25" floppy disks or 63 1.44MB 3.5" floppy disks.

When you say the whole game, I assume you mean Shadows plus The Two That Are One plus Eternities. I'll give you a ballpark figure of the number of suffers Neil has used on this forum, multiplied by the number of times César has said "OMG" on this forum, raised to the power of the number of anti-Cedric comments I've made on this forum.
Once the votes are read, the decision is final. The person voted out will be asked to leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes...

XD Is that a real equation? XD I don't honestly know, but I can assure you it would a lot! I would think that since it's in a 3D based interface, that practically each screen may be it's own floppy disk! XD

The game alone, without the speech pack, would take a number with about three digits. ::) I'd hate to try to keep track of all of those. :P

You got to be just as crazy as the guy who tried to play KQ5 on ONE 5.25" 360K drive . . .

*nuts*
It seems totally incredible to me now that everyone spent that evening as though it were just like any other. From the railway station came the sound of shunting trains, ringing and rumbling, softened almost into melody by the distance ...

I may actually have the whole TSL game on 3.5" floppies. Why you may ask, because I just feel like it, and it feels tranditional. By the way, does anyone know where I can get a large amount of floppies very cheap?  :)

If I were you (which I'm not)... I'd take a drive over to one of your local computer stores.  I don't know about where you live, but where I live, I can get 50 3.5" floppy disks for $10 + tax from Best Buy (which averages out to about a 2 cents per disk).

You could also try a Fry's Electronics if you live near one. Or just go to Frys.com. I don't know if they have floopys floppys but if they did they'd be well priced.
Also, you could try ebay.com.
