Warning: The following is KINDA R-rated material

I was looking up other interesting games that Roberta Williams have produced and I came across softporn adventure. I was kinda surprised to see Roberta Williams (creator of children-fanstasy games like Kings Quest) on the cover of the game in a hot tub, I guess you can say nude. Although it doesn't show anything...  It's just that she doesn't seem the type woman who would do that but then again its not like she's in porn fully nude.

She's on the far right(don't worry there not much to see)

Just like that to point that out. I was just surprised to see that.

EDIT (By Yonkey): Forum stretching.

This text-based game was the first game to be published by Sierra (at the time known as On-Line Systems) in 1981, pre-dating King's Quest: Quest for the Crown by 3 years (which came out in 1984).

As far as Roberta Williams, her involvement in the game was limited to the shot on the box cover (which was later replaced by a shot of Al Lowe's head superimposed over Roberta's head in 1991 when the game was ported over to MS-DOS) and advertisements in magazines for the game.  She had zero creative input in the development of the game and zero input into the production and distribution of the game (which was probably handled by Ken Williams who was the owner of On-Line Systems).

The game was wholly created by Chuck Benton and was made into Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards by Al Lowe in 1987 (which credits Chuck Benton for the original game design).

Chuck Benton has been credited on the following titles over the course of his short-lived career (more often than not as a programmer):

Softporn Adventure (1981)
Crossfire (1983)
BC's Quest for Tires (1983)
Wizard of ID's WizType (1984)
The American Challenge: A Sailing Simulation (1986)
Leisure Suit Larry in the Land of the Lounge Lizards (1987)

With the exception of "The American Challenge: A Sailing Simulation", all of his games were published by Sierra.  "The American Challenge: A Sailing Simulation" was published by Mindscape.

Actually there were quite a few games that predated it, games made by Roberta Williamns with help from her husband. Softporn was made later when they actually could afford to hire a few new employees.

Sierra's very first game was the famous "Mystery House" the very first graphic adventure, in 1980.
Well, ya, King's Quest is on Earth. Daventry is very old city from a long time ago. It's in ruins now and people aren't quite sure exactly where it used to be. There are some archaeologists searching through the ruins, they think they know its Daventry. But its somewhere on Earth."-Roberta Williams http://kingsquest.wikia.com/wiki/File:Daventryisearth.ogg

I stand corrected.  Thank you Baggins.
