Hey Sweetie! I threatened several people not to post this thread and since I didn't get to warn everyone and am afraid someone might come by and post it before I get a chance...I wanted to post now, even though it's a couple hours early for you. So...


Happy birthday, Sweetie. I know this is an extremely special day for you...and I count myself blessed to be able to spend it with you. There are few times that I've expressed how much you mean to me, and none of it sufficiently. You have stood by me through more than a lot of people would. You share my triumphs and failures, and always given me support. You cheer with me when there is something to celebrate. You cry with me when there is something to cry about. I remember a time last December, before we actually realized our true feelings for each other, and I had gone to a Christmas party. There, I found out that my group failed our second draft of our research project and were about to fail the class. I drove home in tears, around 3 am your time, praying and begging in my mind for you to still be awake. I can not tell you the relief I felt when I saw you online and knew your support.

Sweetie, I am SO proud of you. I know you've had your own stresses recently and a lot more going on. And all of the accomplishments you're working towards. You make me SO proud. I am excited and thankful to call you my boyfriend.

We have gone through so much. We have had to keep pushing off when we will finally be together. We have had problems with people we know, and know how hard those have affected us. We don't get to hear each other's voices much at all, due to schedules, people around, and the expense for the phone calls. We have had our disagreements and our all-night chats to heal. But the most important thing is that we are going through all of this together. I wish you an extremely happy birthday.

I love you so much, Sweetie. I'll never be able to express how much...but I hope you know.
