Background- Played King's Quest VI for the first time when I was 7, along with my sister 5. Got past Isle of Wonder, but need a walkthrough once I got to Sacred Mountain. A few years later, played King's Quest VII, loved it. A few year later played "Mask of Eternity", hated it, but felt obligated to play it as it was part of King's Quest series. The series itself I owe a lot, as is was one of the things in my childhood that brought my whole family together.

A little while ago, my sister told me about TSL and I pretty much freaked. Downloaded the demo and it was just like back in the old days. I let my sister play it, then I get frustrated since she wasn't doing what I wanted, and then I take over saying,"You don't know what you're doing, let me see it, I'll show you how to play the game." Beat it in 10mins, and left me wanting more. When the tree fell in the crossroads, I jumped like a kid, even though now I'm 20 years old.

I have no complaints, but I do hope in the final version that you will be able to die. Nothing made the game more exciting for me than for the risk of making that wrong decesion and dying.
Sister-"Let's swim to isle of wonder."
Me-"STOP!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOO! Dammit Sis, that's a bad guy, didn't you see the twinkle in his eye! Gawd!"

Especially that ooga booga land screwed me up. I remember the times I couldn't leave an area before the booga man got me, and I was seriously knock over the moniter, run out the front door, and down the street, until I felt safe and calmed.

I'm glad you liked the demo. Rest assured that you can die in the full game.
Once the votes are read, the decision is final. The person voted out will be asked to leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes...

I can't wait to play KQ9.

Wouldn't it be funny if this was the best game of the series and it was made by just a bunch of fans and not the professionals of Sierra.
