I think the only reason you could fly in the Raccoon suit was because it had a tail and everything with a tail could fly...

Mario is just odd like that sometimes. Don't get me wrong, they're good games, it's just that some things don't make ANY sense! Like, how do mushrooms make you grow?  ;)

Mario incorporates a drug, and makes it look so cool. And, naturally, it IS! XD I guess Miyamoto knows how to make oddly addicting games that makes you look at drugs in a whole new light... XD

mario promotes drugs.  plant drugs make you shorter or slightly taller (mushroom), weed gives you bad breath (flower), and things that make you strong are shiny after youj got high (star)

XD Just imagine what's next for him. I wonder if Super Mario Galaxy will hold anything good in it... Alien space flower/mushroom anyone? XD The alien flowers would probably have alternating effects, like perhaps double strength, or a decrease in strength but an increase in size or something... XD IDK, but it's a mystery what's next for him!

What about mario turning green (like luigi) or even better you change into luigi.
