Kingdom Hearts II: Final Mix

KHII:FM+ has now been released in Japan. I have downloaded a High Quality version of the new Secret Movie. It is AMAZING! You HAVE to see it. You can visit http://www.khinsider.com for more. I suppose you could visit KHVids, but I don't know the address, and I hardly ever visit the site to begin with. KHInsider combined both secret movies, and subbed them for english audiences. Very helpful for me. The HQ download is only the new secret movie in japanese. But the video portion of it is what's really important. I have heard nothing new of an english release date, but I still hope that we get one. I would also pray for a strategy guide to go along with it. The game has some serious tough spots. The new Secret Boss is one soldier you DON'T want to mess with! Trust me, he's extremely difficult. The new Organization battles don't look too tough, but I've only seen a few vids of them. The battle between Roxas and Sora is pretty cool, but not all that challenging. At least not yet. They have some new cutscenes, but I can't understand what they're saying mainly because it's in japanese, and there is no audio for some cutscenes. The one's with audio are pretty cool though. The scene in the Promotional Video in which Xemnas gives Roxas the name Roxas has no audio in the game itself, as opposed to it having audio in the promo vid. Dissapointing, but there's nothing we can do about it. Let's pray that an American release date is confirmed at some point. It would sell like hotcakes here, I expect. The only problem is that I'll have to save up my money. Well, enjoy this new info!

I usually don't spoil things for myself, but I was so curious, even though at the time I was far from finishing KHII, that I watched the ending and secret movie and spoiled it all for me... And the new secret movie is pretty cool. I have it on my iPod in high quality. I used a really cool video encoder to convert it from Avi to Mov/Mpeg (not sure which! ). I am really enjoying the new ideo encoder... I can do so much, things that I wouldn't have been able to do before...

BIG NEWS EDIT: IGN has now reported that Square-Enix is now planning an all new KH SERIES! Keyword= Series, meaning more than one! The article can be found at the link below. jsyk- series is plural and singlular.  and most series turn out to be trilogies.

The point being that there is potential for more KH. And this new series is said not to be KHIII, so it makes me wonder what it is... Could it possibly be a spin-off? What is it... SO MANY QUESTIONS!

I'm expecting "Kingdom Hearts: The War" or something along those lines, obviously just a name rather than number. I'd say it's gonna be a Kingdom Hearts with a new cast.

Well, I thought Nomura said that KH isn't KH without Sora... IDK, maybe that'll change or something... I would like to see a KH game on a portable system. Not a GBA KH game, but something like the DS or the PSP... (I'm torn between both. The touch controll of the DS would make wielding the Keyblade a very interesting experience, but on the other hand, the graphics couldn't be too good. The PSP would have graphics much more suitable to the KH franchise, but it lacks the touch controll interface. I do believe that KH needs to at least have 3D graphics, and and not 2D gameboy graphics. The DS would probably provide limited graphical power, or great graphical power but limited features/gameplay. The only thing I can see to avoid this is to have a GBA cartridge extension sort of thing...)

Well It's a Wonderful World looks interesting and that's coming out for the DS from Square. Rather innovative game that uses the touch screen rather well.

my guess at the knights is that it takes place while kh1 is going on because mickey doesnt appear until the end.

GBA was the best handheld at the time. PSP kicks the DS when it comes to graphics, and as Michael said "Nomura loves graphics."

But if he loved his graphics so much, why would he sacrifice them just to go to a handheld? I don't even see why a handheld would come on the board at all.

I'll be honest here: I've never played Chain of Memories... I don't know if it's any good, but if KHII:FM+ gets released in North America, you can bet that Re:CoM will too. And I really want to play that game! I do hope that they do a Wii version of KH, just for wii fans like me. The control style would be so unigue, wouldn't it? Although, you can all disagree if you like. I know some of you will go with the PS3...

Because of the whole Square mentality of spreading series over various platforms and media.

Please don't tell me you actually believed that.
As for graphics...I don't think they'd be all that big of a factor. If the market's there, they'd probably put it on the Wii, but they're probably going to keep the main series on Sony consoles to keep things simple for the fans who started on PS2.

Ok, here's the deal. There is a campaigne to get KHII:FM+ released in North America, and Square wants it to come here, but they have to get permission. The main reason for this port is none other than Re:CoM. The reason the first final mix didn't get ported is because it was believed there was no point in re-selling KH with only a few additions. The company can't publicly state their opinions, but they are in with the fans on this one. KHinsider had the story. Link
