I've just got news that there is fighting in the SL?! True? When I played the demo it did come up with something saying fire wepon, whats that about? Is it a bow or something? Or perhaps a wand? Write back please someone, and can anyone awnser me when I ask which villains for definete or over 60% will return? I'm desperate to know!

Fire weapon may have something to do with it originally being a game engine for first person shooters.

As for villains... :suffer:

I can tell you that Shadrack will be a villain. Though not previously seen in the King's Quest series, correspondence between Alhazred and Shadrack was featured in "King's Quest VI: Heir Today, Gone Tomorrow".

As for the fire button, this is simply a part of the Torque engine. There were plans for "boss battles" in the game which would have involved solving puzzles as opposed to traditional combat, but limited resources has resulted in this feature being cut from the game.
Once the votes are read, the decision is final. The person voted out will be asked to leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes...

Don't worry, TSL won't be another MOE. ;)

It's not that I didn't enjoy MOE (or at least what I've been able to play of it) I just don't want another KQ like that. :P

angel0fmus1c

I'd be fine with fighting if it actually had a purpose like Alexander vs. Alhazred (sp?) in VI, not the mindless killing spree that was MoE.

Or if it were in an adventure-y/inventory-based/puzzle-based way. :P

That + magic-y would be cool!
*is looking forward to playing Alexander and using magic*

angel0fmus1c

That would be really cool! Rosella might know some magic too, from spending a lot of time in Etheria.

She does use magic in some way, just not as much as Alexander, who uses magic way more than his inventory. Rosella uses a mixture of both.

I wonder what type of magic Rosella will be able to do. Maybe something Alexander taught her, or stuff she picked up in Etheria. ???

The TSL team actually released the answer to that in a birthday chat.
Rosella will be able to use time magic. I'm pretty sure she will be the one to go back and let us learn about Valanice's past.
Maybe I'm behind the times, but can't Graham still do some magic, or at least talk to animals? Or did he lose that after KQ5? He could turn into a raincloud and... erm... get Shadrack all wet and annoyed?   :suffer:
