I love 3rd person because I like to see how the character reacts to the situation. Besides, typically, if everything is 1st person, the character is intended to be the player. I don't WANT to be the character. I know me!

I didn't like Myst very much because I couldn't get into it. The 1st person disoriented me much more than it should have (You'd think, going through life in first person, I'd have a better handle on it...

) So yeah, 3rd player promotes more plot/character development to me. The only time I've really enjoyed a game without much plot/character development was Lost in Time. I mean, there was plot, but it was so hard to follow I just gave up and had fun solving the puzzles.

And welcome, angel0fmus1c!! I love your avatar. ^^
