I just want the forum opinion on what KQ villain was the most powerful and scary.

Bludshot

Of those choices, Mordack.  Since I was 7 or 8 when I played KQ5.

Who is Harlin?

Turns out Harlin is the guy who captured Princess Priscilla in "The Wizard and the Princess." :)

I've never understood that. What exactly is that and how does it connect to KQ? ???

For me, its Manannan.

Actually, if I remember correctly, "The Wizard and the Princess" is speculated to be the first game in the KQ series, though it's never been confirmed. The Wanderer, the main character in the game, is thought to be Edward. There's kinda a fan debate there...but the only thing that does officially connect it to the KQ series is that it's set in Serenia. :) Hope that helps!

Rosella

Definitely Manannan. The other ones had some quirks that made them just a bit amusing. Manannan had a LOT of power and was TERRIFYING. :P

Boogeyman's not on here. He was pretty scary too. :P

Round and round the graveyard
The witch chased Rosella

Pop! goes the Boogeyman.

Rosella

Ok, I might have to change my vote to the Boogeyman if he were. :P

*shudders* TERRIFYING memories. :P I had nightmares about him before I even got to chapter 4! XD

Same here!

And, as you like to say:
That guy is bad news! Next time I'm not waiting to find out just HOW bad!
I don't narrate for stinky kings!

Rosella

Yes...VERY bad news. I swear my heart rate was like, uncontrollable when he popped on screen. XD

Lucreto was the villain from MoE, and Dahlia the witch from KQ1.

Close call between Mordack and Manannan. Mordack is pretty scary-looking, but you don't actually see him that much. And, as we find out, he's also a bit of a ninny at chess...

Manannan is abusive and creepy. He keeps following you arround and appearing out of nowhere. And to top it off, he has his own eeeevil theme song every time he enters a room:

DOOOOOOO doo doo doo dooooooo!

riveraeg

I think Mordack, because I was like 7-8 when I played KQV, but man stuffing the entire castle in to a class bottle, NOW THAT IS SCARY!!

I would apreciate if someone can wrtie a short description on each villian and where to find it.  BEcause I don't know where the story of Harlin is of where to purchase it?

My vote is Manannan...and might be the Boogeyman if he were there....They both would pop up at random and startle me with doom. I hate being startled more than anything  :-[

Mordack, Mannanan, and the Boogeyman are all scary because they tend to pop up when you least expect it.

Here are some honorable mentions IMO:

1. The Minotaur (KQVI): Roaming the already creepy catacombs was made even worse by the constant sound of hooves on stone, it really jumps your heart rate when you finally find his lair.

2. Dwarf (KQI) Okay, not exactly life threatening scary, but frankly I tend to freak out when this guy is around, trying to take whatever quest required item I may have on Graham's person.

3. Druids (KQVI) I remember KQVI very fondly, since it was mt first KQ game I ever played, I was about 6 years old and needed my mom to play with me to guide me through scary parts and, well just about every puzzle :P  Imagine my horrible surprise that showing my mom the discovery of the Isle Of The Mists, my accomplishment literally goes up in flames.

4. Fire ants (MOE) Gah!  Where did the other 30 of these come from!  Run away!

5. Demon Gate (KQVI...again) Whats there to explain?  Its a creepy skull that tries to eat you.  Worst kid's nightmare.

I went with Lolotte from KQ IV because she zaps Rosella into a pile of salt.  That used to scare me when I was little  :o  Now I just do it for fun  ;D

dew7

I voted for Mordack because he has a castle on an island with a difficult maze and he seems really powerful to be able to reduce Graham's castle to minature size.
