Pirates 3 is AWESOME! (No Spoilers)

Saw it last night with little sis...It's FANTASTIC. I think I liked it more than 2 even. I've read reviewers calling it too long but I'm not sure what you would cut out without hurting the movie. No spoiler but I think the ending wrapped up well, leaving a slight possibility for a sequel, if anyone wants to make one

Ooh! I'm seeing it tomorrow night after work and this makes me even more excited! And I'd much rather have a good long movie than a bad short one.

People complained about too many plots and it being confusing...but maybe it wasn't to me...since I have a brain that functions.

First of all, I thought it was a bit confusing too.

Second, that monkey is amazing.

I saw it last night and I just thought it was awesome. It was a lot funnier than PotC2 (Which has grown on me, btw. It just took 3 viewings. ) The only thing I didn't like was the growing absurdity of the plot. I mean, I enjoyed it; I really did, but the plot kinda irked me sometimes. XP

I'm not sure if I'm going to watch it because I didn't like 2 but for those how do I hear that if you sit through ALL the credits there's something at the end. I don't know what but if somebody sits through it please confirm this.

Wheee! Loved it! Not as much as the first one, but I still really liked it.

That monkey is amazing!

Now I just need to watch it again two more times with rewind capabilities and I'll understand all the nuances and motivations behind everything that I didn't catch.

Yes, there is something at the end after the credits.

I think so, yes. It actually has more to do with the plot than the other two clips did at the end of the first two.

Yes, the scene after the credits is more of an epilogue and not just a joke. And technically, the scene at the end of the first movie ended up important to the plot of 2, I think, since it showed Jack the monkey being undead again.

And yes, the monkey IS awesome. It's so fantastically trained. Anyone notice his amazing ability to feign shivering during the "cold" scene?

I noticed it shivering but didn't think about how they would've had to train it to do that. That's good work on their part. I wonder Jack was played by just one monkey or if they had several monkeys?

I'm not sure about multiples, but I think I heard that Jack was played by a female cause those kind of monkeys, the males are too obnoxious to train/work with.

They were saying on the IMDB forum that it's even better watching it a second time.

And I looked it up, there was two monkeys for the first movie, and male and female, and two different monkeys, a male and female, for the last two movies.

I've seen it three times now, absolutely love it!

Not sure which one I like better between 2 & 3. I almost think of DMC and AWE as one long movie.

Exactly, they really ARE more like one long movie...but still, I like AWE more than DMC I think, though I like both.

I saw it a while ago and I quite enjoyed it. I believe I prefer it to DMC.
