Anticipating Harry Potter

*just finished rereading the 5th book last night*

My only problem with the entry is that Harry, Ron, and Hermione are all PoA-ified.

They are going to show HP in 3D IMAX here next month. I hope to go to it. It sound neat.

Two well known people would die in the book.
Something like Starwars
  1. Harry becomes as evil as Voldemort
  2. Ron takes out his lightwand and battles Harry
  3. Harry kills voldemort
  4. Harry dies

- Harry fails to find Voldemort and marries Ginny. One night Voldemort kills them both and dies by Ginny's protection. Leaving their child behind.
Looks a bit like the first book doesn't it.

If so, why is my local online bookseller still stating July 21st?

By the way, I've read a while ago Harry could well be a Horcrux and Ginny has to kill him.

  Yeah, that doesn't sound right to me either. I heard that the movie comes out on July 11th and the the book comes out on July 21st.

I just finished my re-read of the HP series. I think the 5th has to be my favorite book. What about you guys?

I haven't read the last two since they came out, and I don't remember anything except for who dies. So I'm trying to reread the series before the 11th. (is in the middle of the fourth)

Out of the first four, the fourth is my favorite. The fifth and sixth I don't remember well enough to choose.

I used  to HATE the 5th one, but when I re-read it, I loved it!

I hated the 5th one too. I got so mad. Not looking forward to reading through Umbridge , although the book in general I am, as it'll be almost like I've never read it before.

Oh, I agree! The first time I read it I found it too depressing, but then when I reread it I LOVED it! I have this thing for stories about people rebelling to the extreme after having been picked on or oppressed for such a long time. And of course, I love it that Neville, Luna, and Ginny have a much bigger part in the story, because I love them so!

Yeah, Umbridge is hillarious/horrible/reminds me of a teacher I had.

I can't say much yet because I'm just finishing the first and I should be starting the second tomorrow.   

It has made me want to watch the first again and I while I did notice what they pulled out I have to say they added a lot of extra detail (not story) into the movie that wasn't in the book. I will buy the movies but I'll wait until all seven are out. Hopefully they will have extended versions by then.
