Hey, just want to inform anybody that cares that the king's quest 4 site is down again. But do not worry, we're working on it now. The remakes going to be finished. We're not giving up. We already have a lot of the game finished and we're still planning on release it as well as a Plus version that expands on the original game.

Just click the mirror to go there. Right now we've just got a plain forum, but we'll have a full website soon probably around the time the remake's finished. We're working on it right now, it's basically a mouse version of the original. After that we're planning a Plus version to flesh out the parts of the game that didn't make sense the first time around.

Exactly!!!  I was born and raised with King's Quest.  I enjoyed many of the other vintage Sierra titles also like Conquest of Camelot, Conquest of the Longbow, Quest for Glory (originally Hero's Quest), Police Quest, Space Quest, etc.

I still have an older PC at my folks house in the States and I have started to replay Zeliard on a 486 PC that has Windows 3.1.  I love it since it has true DOS.  Does anyone remember Zeliard?

Please comment briefly on these things and then we can shift back to the topic about King's Quest 4 remake.  If there is enough interest then I or someone else can always start a new thread about any of these topics.

Ah Hero's Quest. I love that game (I have that box too.) Probably my all time favorite Sierra game fallowed my Space Quest. I haven't played any of the rest aside from some of the KQ's.

When I saw QFG2 I thought it was a Sierra nock-off  (And wondered what the first one was.) and didn't get it until much later when I found out that Sierra changes the name.  I like the original title best.

I liked the original title the best also but the reason Sierra changed it was due to copyright issues.  Which Space Quest did you like the 2nd best after Hero's Quest. <aka Quest for Glory 1 or just Quest for Glory>

Apologies for the long wait, there are not many people on the team as it is, and other 'real life' issues seem to be slowing progress drastically.
