Thanks guys - I hope to check this place out frequently. It's nice to keep in touch with this project and also be able to talk about KQ with some people that enjoyed it as much as I have.

Yeah, this forum is filled with KQ fans, both young and old. Some are still teenagers, while others are full grown adults. We all range in age... Which reminds me... My friend's little brother, who's in third grade, likes King's Quest. It's refreshing to see that some families carry on the legacy that is KQ!

Im only 15 but still, the first ever adventure game i played was KQVII and i still hole the demo very close to my heart lol. Somehow i broke KQV though...
Im the leader of an online gaming clan so it just goes to show that Adventure games are accessable to people of all walks of life.
Anyhow, I LOVE CHESSBOARDLAND TOO!!!!! I always wondered why the original designers left it out. It would have been much better than the labyrinth as a plot element.

I believe that young adventure gamers have a lot of power. I am currently writing a paper about adventure games and I hope to publicize it soon. But chessboard land really was awesome!
