How many Engines has this game been through, and is the current one the same as the demo?

I'm not sure how many engines the game's gone through, but it's always been Torque in the time I've been with the project.

The current one is the same as the demo, though I believe the demo used version 1.3 of TGE while we're currently using 1.4.

Prior to choosing Torque Game Engine, the team had developed their own engine and also experimented with Crystal Space.

Torque Game Engine was the most stable and feature-complete of the three, so we went with it. 8)

I'm glad you upgraded. I was just wondering if the game will be better then the demo.

It'll definitely be better than the demo. :P The demo only has 5 minutes of gameplay, and was created almost 2 full years ago.  The game has advanced quite a bit since then. 8)

I've played the current build of the game, and it's definitely more advanced than the demo. There are screens from the demo which, though I haven't directly compared them, look to have been totally redone for the game, and others with very nice improvements. Actually, there's one bit that I know for a fact has been totally redone (because it's so obvious), but I can't tell you what it is  :suffer:

On the technical side, there are things we've mentioned before. We have proper lip-sync happening now, and Graham doesn't just follow a pre-determined walking path but will actually go exactly where you click and avoid obstacles to get there. There's one other really cool feature that's been added that I know off the top of my head, but I think we'll just let you see it in the game itself.
Once the votes are read, the decision is final. The person voted out will be asked to leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes...
