I'm nearly up to 2,000 posts.  I still maintain that the original 1,000+ that I lost way back when we transferred to the "black forums" should have been added onto my total again, but ah well...

I don't think it's an official name so much as a "pet name"; before the black and red forums, we had the black and blue forums, and then before those, we had white and blue (I believe?  I know the background was white, and I think it was on blue), but other than these three iterations, I don't remember any others.

And B'rrr, I've had the same right to inactivity as you, my dear!

I've seen the white and blue site, don't think I ever saw the black and blue though.

The black and blue came between this and the white and blue, I believe.  The logo changed to one with a font similar to the TSL one, and then I think the red and black came with the name change.

I could be entirely wrong, of course, but I definitely remember the three different site incarnations.  The blue and black had a nifty sound on the buttons at the top when you moved your cursor over them.  I remember expressing my disappointment to Yonkey that the sound got removed!

Never say any white and blue forums, probably before my time. When i joined there were already insane big archives and Mango was alrezady sulking about her missing posts back then... *nods*

And I know you had the right to inactivity, but you are talking about catching up, not me!

Yeah, when I joined it was black and red already, I think? I don't remember missing posts, but then again at the time we were all posting so much I don't think we'd notice a few thousand posts going missing.

That's insane.  But yes, I know I'm talking on catching up.  Maybe in fifty years time!

And Questie; I believe that the missing posts thing happened when we went black and blue.  Maybe someone had beaten the post counts off of the forum or something (thus the black and blueness)?  I don't think everyone got affected, but I know I lost over 1,000 posts in my post count at the time.
