Hurray!

We got a cable modem!  And We finally got the computers in my house networked so we can all use it!

But I DID notice one problem...None of the posts were marked new sicne I last came here (about 11 last night)...Is it due to the modem?  (which just got hooked up to this computer not an hour agao)  Or is it just a fluke?

I'm seeing new posts but no notifications. But none of the posts show new? Hmmm... I don't have the problem. Even if you were constantly signed on somehow, it would still show new posts as they appear. Weird.

Well, I just got back on, and the posts you made WERE marked as read.  Maybe it was just a fluke due to the cable modem.

It's cool because it connects automatically.  I just started the computer, and Yahoo messenger signed me on.  But I think my mom is online too..its cool that we can both use it at once...

it actually marks them read because someone entered and read them, they oly get yellowish i think when noone has read them

Nah, i don't think thats why, If I read a few posts, it STILL shows them as new unless I mark them as read (or I come back a few minutes after I read them)

Is there a difference between new and unread messages?
The most annoying thing that happens to me is when I read the new posts and leave the computer for a while, it marks them as read and then I don't know if I read them or not ):c

I HAVENT GET SINGLE EMAIL from you, I get your personal instant messages, but I never ever got an email from you, if you want to email me email me directly to inferno_669@hotmail.com or inferno_669@yahoo.com, dont use the mail option here seems not to work I guess

I don't get this read/unread/new messages-thing. I just see little tags turning up here and there, but  I just look at the time and the last poster to check if I've read the last post of a thread yet. Obviously, when I'm the last poster, that's the case.
